Ifeanyi Okechukwu is the Regional Coordinator Early Warning at West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP) Headquarters Accra. Mr. Okechukwu has 20 years working experience in peacebuilding with core competence in conflict early warning design and implementation, training in conflict prevention, management and resolution, research, proposal writing, program management and manual development. Ifeanyi has written and contributed to various peacebuilding publications including WANEP early warning bulletin and policy brief series; “Manual on Women in Gender and Peacebuilding”; “Trainer’s Manual on Election Dispute Management for West Africa”, “Peace Education Practice Guide for Schools in West Africa”; “Capacity for Peacebuilding: An Introductory Manual”, “A Grassroots Perspective on Risks Stemming from Disasters and Conflict”. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication and a Master of Arts Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies. He is a member of Faculty at the West Africa Peacebuilding Institute (WAPI) and also a Commonwealth Professional Fellow.
