Edwige Dede Mensah

Dede Edwige Mensah is currently the program officer at the Peace Monitoring Centre. She is in charge of coordinating the CSOs’ contribution into the ECOWAS Early Warning and Response Network (ECOWARN) within the 15 countries of ECOWAS, thus monitoring issues related to human security in West Africa. She is also coordinating the National Early Warning System (NEWS) of the 15 West Africa’s countries. Before joining WANEP, she worked as a consultant and IT trainer at GSC (Gestion, Service, Conseils) of Abidjan and prior to that with Air Afrique in Abidjan-Plateau.

Edwige holds a BA, Political Science with Sociology from the University of Ghana, Legon. She has completed her engineering in Information Technology at the “Centre Universitaire Professionalisé” of Abidjan. She also holds a National High Diploma (BTS) of Cote d’Ivoire in Information Management while attending the “Ecole Professionnelle de la Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie” of Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire. She has a certificate in Proventive Peacebuilding: Early Warning and Early Response of WAPI.
