WANEP, Critical Stakeholders Call for Peaceful Elections in Nigeria

The responsibility of peace and security resides with governments and its agencies. However, civil society organizations overtime have demonstrated their capacity and competence to influence policies on peace and security and complement government’s efforts in ensuring the stability of the state. The need for civil society to accompany government efforts at national, regional and continental levels cannot therefore be over-emphasised.
