Quarter 2 Report:- April-June 2023 Progress Report

In the second quarter of 2023, the West Africa region faced human security challenges impacting stability, peace, and security across the ECOWAS Member States. WANEP’s 700 community monitors reported 1625 incidents related to human security, resulting in 2857 deaths, 1829 injuries, property damage, and numerous cases of arrests and detentions.
