The Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) signed in 2003, in Akosombo, Accra, Ghana was a significant milestone in Liberia’s history because it marked the end of a devastating civil war and set the stage for peace, stability, and democratic governance. It has positioned the country on a progressive path of inclusive democracy and strengthened the political landscape.
