By The aim of education is, among others, to prepare individuals to acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes that enable them to live, interact and thrive in a diverse social and cultural dynamic environment. It also aims to develop individuals’ ability to ensure their participation in the nation-building process. In the context of the prevention of violent extremism in general, and in the Sahel countries and Nigeria in particular, education has a role to play at different levels, all important and complementary.
