Quick Update: – Tense post-election situation in Benin

The Benin knows a tense post-election period, marked by violent events in Cotonou Kandi, 1 st and May 2, 2019. As a reminder, this wave of violence is consecutive to the “non-inclusive elections” held on April 28, with the participation of the only 2 parties of the presidential movement, the “Progressive Union (UP)” and the “Republican Block (BR)”.
