Quick Update: – Seventeen (17) dead in the landslide of a gold mine in Norassoba in the prefecture of Siguiri

At least 17 people perished in a landslide that occurred on the evening of Sunday, February 03, 2019 at around 7 p.m., in a gold mine in Fradjani, a district under the sub-prefecture of Norasoba, in the prefecture of Siguiri. According to Alpha Kabinet Doumbouya, vice mayor of the rural town of Norassoba, 17 bodies were taken out of the hole and the search is still ongoing. It is a former gold mine, now the place is exploited by machines which load the dump trucks. Yesterday, after these machines, the miners ran to go down in
