Quick Update: – Seven (7) dead, 70 wounded and a hundred arrested during the National Front for the Defense of the Constitution (FNDC) demonstration on October 14 and 15, 2019

For several months, a standoff has been pitting the Guinean government against the political opposition united within the National Front for the Defense of the Constitution (FNDC) and certain actors of civil society around the change of the constitution. This plan to endow Guinea with a new constitution for some time has fueled political debates in the country.
