NEWS SITUATION TRACKING –TOGO: Dialogue in the deadlock: Escalation of violent protests in Togo

Public demonstrations had known a lull during the course of a dialogue [1] between the coalition of 14 opposition parties and the government under the facilitation of Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo. The dialogue was opened on February 15, started on February 19, continued on February 23 and March 23, 2018 in Lomé.
