{"id":2581,"date":"2020-04-24T12:52:38","date_gmt":"2020-04-24T12:52:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wanep.gravitywebsolutionsgh.com\/?p=2581"},"modified":"2020-04-24T12:52:38","modified_gmt":"2020-04-24T12:52:38","slug":"wanep-news-issue-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wanep.org\/wanep\/wanep-news-issue-10\/","title":{"rendered":"WANEP News: Issue 10"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WANEP\u2019s Role in the current Peace and Security Architecture of Africa was the theme of the biennial Participatory Review and Analysis Processes (PRAPs) held at the Chances Hotel, Ho in the Volta Region from February 2 to 4, 2016.<br \/>\nThe meeting which brought together all National Network Coordinators, Zonal Coordinators, WANEP Liaison Officer<br \/>\nto ECOWAS and Regional staff also discussed the growth of the organization from transition to consolidation.<\/p>\n<p>PRAPs provides a vital platform for improving and strengthening WANEP\u2019s continuous monitoring and learning culture through<br \/>\nthe Network Accountability Learning and Planning System (NALPS). This year\u2019s meeting was specifically held to assess operations of the organization, identify achievements and challenges, and deepen understanding of the relationship between WANEP<br \/>\nand regional\/continental partners. A seasoned Organizational Development Expert, Rev John Nkum who is also a member of the<br \/>\nWANEP Regional Board, facilitated the meeting with Mr. Ato Kwamina Nkum as co-facilitator.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was also an opportunity for bonding between WANEP Management and staff through the various team building<br \/>\nactivities.
